  • Hey, Quita - Just got back and had your voicemail waiting. I remarried last year and left behind my other last name and addy. My new email addy is lktbanks@geeksmiths.com

It would be lovely to come to the reunion but I cannot commit. We plan to sail this summer and are headed south to Mexico, so I am hoping that we'll be on the Rock for the Fourth, we'll just have to see how it goes ... it would be great to see everyone.

Thanks so much for keeping me included ... it is something else to read blog from classmates of long ago, and hard to get my head and heart wrapped around the notion of those no longer on this Earth ...

I'll keep in touch regarding the reunion. We have plans to connect with Tom & Debbie (O'Toole) Riddle when we get to Coronado and I imagine that she can put me in touch with you?

I have 3 grown sons (Tristan, 27, Tyler, 24, Ozzy, 21)... I was carrying my fourth at the 20th Reunion ... Sam is now 14 : ) I'm kinda retired which is lovely... but still a geek, still doing web design and computers, I do a lot of philanthropic web stuff for Capitola ... still living in the same house in Capitola for going on 27 years, and after being a Navy brat it is a joy to have lived in one house all these years!

One of my sites is sort of a playground, mostly for family and friends to access ... there are sevearl slideshows - way too many pictures for casual interest, but have a look if you'd like: www.surfnetca.com.

Someone ought to build a slideshow on the Islanders72 site from pictures taken at the reunion : )

    Four stops and sprint finish...
Pre peloton era good vibe tour...
    Virgin margaritas w/power boost..
    More stories for the historical

  • The price is right for the BBQ, however I won't make it since my wife and I are will be out in the Anza-Borrego desert that weekend.
We have been doing the desert bighorn sheepcount for at least 15 years now and don't miss it ever. Our last day is July 1st. By the end of the day were whipped.

  • To all old Islanders! This website is outstanding. I tell you hearing from you all makes me fell so old and aware of lost time. I no that I must have been totally clueless in High School, which I am sure many of you would agree with. I looked at the photos from the 30th and only recongized like 3 people. I am so excited to get back together, but don't be surpized if I have no idea who anyone is. Way to many stories to tell from the past 35 years--just looking forward to re-living our glory days!
